Eternal Voyage (Part I)
Prologue - This is a narrative poem about my friend, who taught me a valuable life lesson, "Things that we love the most, comes most unexpectedly."
When I saw her for the first time,
How I felt, my words can't describe,
My body instantly got a rush of adrenaline,
When I caught sight of smile so dazzling.
She was sitting calmly on a train window seat,
Seemed liked pondering something very deep,
She was stranger to me, I was anonymous to her,
But life had some different plans for us.
Through eye contact, we connected with each other,
Or just secretly checked out, how we differ.
Might be, we were hesitant to break the ice,
But somehow, I showed the courage to say 'Hi'!!
Sweetly she replied and passed her radiant smile,
Felt like, a beat was skipped by the heart.
From here our chitchat got a start,
And once it began, it never took a halt.
We started to share our train of thoughts,
Like what we think of life, deaths, and war.
In a few hours we got to know too much about other,
About education, family, friends, and some darkest fear.
All of it was just merely an attraction,
But felt like from before we had a connection.
She was immensely different from other,
One who was even interested in knowing my favorite color,
I realized she was as crazy as I was,
And we continued our nonsense talks
From here our friendship got a fantastic start,
And in one journey, another one took part.
One journey didn't continue for long,
As it had a destination for sure.
Since other one have no definite route,
Don't know till where it will move.
That was one of the best journey I ever had,
Thought, I got a friend with whom I will walk till the end.
Did life had different plans for us?
To know, wait till Part II of the poem come.
You will soon be my favourite poet. Nice work brother😊
